As part of the upcoming Google I/O conference, Pinterest has introduced an update to their Android app, and it’s sure to please Pinterest lovers everywhere.

In the Pinterest app for Android v3.0 released tomorrow, users will get notifications on Android devices when they are near a location they’ve previously pinned to their accounts. The user will also receive step-by-step instructions for getting to that location.

For example, if you have a board of places where you want to watch the World Cup, Pinterest will send you a notification on your Android device if you are close to one of those sites or sports bars you pinned. And Pinterest will tell you exactly how to get there.

The goal of Pinterest is to help you discover things you love. Now, with this new update, you’ll be able to discover those things outside of just your computer or mobile device. Navigate a new city with ease and explore places you already know you love from Pinterest.

If you’ve been whimsically pinning must-see locations for your next trip abroad to Italy, you’ll get notified when you’re near those famous Spanish Steps or the Trevi Fountain. It’s an amazing new way to integrate your digital world with your life.

Pinterest has provided lots of examples that you could use to take advantage of the Android app’s new features. Discover places in Stockholm, Seattle, Ireland, India, Kansas City, and more with just the touch of a button and the ping of your Android phone. The possibilities are truly endless.
