As the violence escalates in Egypt, two Republican senators who recently visited the country â€" John McCain of Arizona and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina â€" will weigh in on Sunday talk shows. The two members of the Senate Armed Services Committee urged the new military-appointed government on Aug. 6 to move toward democracy or risk losing American aid.

Mr. McCain will join CNN’s “State of the Union,” which will also feature Edward Walker, former ambassador to Egypt, and Jon B. Alterman, director of the Middle East program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. The program will include an interview with Representative Justin Amash, Republican of Michigan, on new revelations about the National Security Agency’s surveillance program, which Mr. Amash attempted to defund.

In addition to Mr. Graham, Representative Jackie Speier, Democrat of California, will appear on CBS’s “Face the Nation,” sharing her perspective as an advocate for victims on the Pentagon’s new rules to combat sexual assault. Also, Representatives Robert W. Goodlatte of Virginia, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, and Robert Scott of Virginia, ranking Democrat on a House terrorism subcommittee, will talk about immigration and N.S.A. surveillance efforts.

Raymond W. Kelly, the New York police commissioner who some say could be the next secretary of homeland security, will appear on CBS, NBC’s “Meet the Press” and ABC’s “This Week,” discussing the city’s stop-and-frisk program in the wake of its recent rejection by a federal judge.

Also on NBC: Senators Kelly Ayotte, Republican of New Hampshire, and Jack Reed, Democrat of Rhode Island, will weigh in on Egypt and the Obama administration’s approach. Ben Jealous, president and chief executive of the N.A.A.C.P.; Sybrina Fulton, Trayvon Martin’s mother; and Benjamin Crump, a lawyer for the Martin family, will discuss whether the death of the unarmed Florida teenager has become a catalyst for change.

Senator Bob Corker of Tennessee, ranking Republican on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and Representative Eliot Engel of New York, ranking Democrat on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, will be on ABC, talking about the crisis in Egypt. And in addition to Mr. Kelly, the program will have an interview with Reince Priebus, chairman of the Republican National Committee, on the state of his party.

Senator Rand Paul, Republican of Kentucky, grants an exclusive interview to “Fox News Sunday,” talking about the implementation of the president’s health care law. And Representative Peter T. King, Republican of New York, and Senator Richard Blumenthal, Democrat of Connecticut, will look at the president’s response to the situation in Egypt.

On C-Span’s “Newsmakers,” Michael Needham, chief executive of Heritage Action for America, will discuss his organization’s plans to promote the conservative agenda on a number of pressing issues.

Deborah A.P. Hersman, chairwoman of the National Transportation Safety Board, will appear on Bloomberg’s “Capitol Gains” to talk about the response to recent airplane crashes. Also on the show will be Jonathan Gruber, the architect of Mitt Romney’s health care plan, discussing the president’s law. The program is at noon Eastern.

D.A. King, an activist against illegal immigration who opposes immigration reform, will be on Univision’s “Al Punto,” at 10 a.m. Eastern.

Telemundo’s “Enfoque” will feature a panel discussion about the recent alleged surge in asylum claims by Mexicans based on a “credible fear” of reprisals from drug lords. The program is on the air at noon Eastern.
