Coupon queen RetailMeNot is launching its free tablet app for iPad today, according to a press release.

Just like on its iPhone app, people can run a customized search of RetailMeNot’s 50,000 retailers to find deals online and in their vicinity. Their favorite stores will pop up in the top of search lists. People are also able to map deal locations. The new app is updated to lets you share saved deals across mobile, desktop, and tablet devices, which you couldn’t do on the old app.

In October, eMarketer noted that online coupons are increasing in popularity and not just on desktops, but on tablets too. Since 2012, almost half of all tablet owners have used their tablets to redeem a coupon or some other deal. What’s more, eMarket’s forecast expects “double-digit growth” for coupon redemption on tablets into 2015.

The “world’s largest coupon mall,” according to its press release, launched its IPO at $21 last June and by July RetailMeNot’s stock ($SALE) had grown 34 percent. As of last check the stock is trading at $27.27, up from yesterday’s closing price of $26.88.

Austin company WhaleShark Media acquired Australian RetailMeNot in 2010. Since 2011, the company has scooped up local coupon sites VoucherCodes.co.uk in the U.K. as well as deals.com in Germany, bone-de-reduction, Poulpeo, and ma-reduc in France, actiepagina.nl in the Netherlands, and deals2buy in North America.

Investors/major shareholders include Austin Ventures, Norwest Venture Partners, Institutional Venture Partners, Adam Street Partners, Google Ventures, and J.P. Morgan.
